It is very sad to announce that THE PARTY HAS BEEN CANCELED!

Hurricane Isaac was supposed to be out of the city by now, but last night, as it approached the city, it slowed down and stopped over us. The Airport is closed, the streets are flooded and the whole city is without power. The storm is slowly moving again, but wont be out of the city for a while.

The storm will remain in the city for the following 24 hours and even after that, heavy wind and rain will further delay the clean-up process. No one knows when the power will return and when the flooding will subside.

A lot of planning went into putitng the party together and I am very sad it has to be canceled. I appreciate all the work everyone did to make it possible. Mother nature had different plans all along. We are safe at a friends house and all we can do is watch the storm slowly move through. We had to leave Mi Casa II at the marina, as the coast guard told us we had to leave that area. We hope it is still floating right side up.

Many guests have had their flights canceled and at this point we dont know if anyone would actually be able to make it into the city. Instead, we will have a small celebration in Ohio with family  and friends in a few weeks.

THE PARTY IS OFFICIALLY CANCELED! BLAME ISAAC! I was looking forward to seeing everyone.
